I've been selected as a Featured Artist!

Back in the saddle again...


After a brief vacation - during which I did NO origami and NO portraits - but did create some Zentangles for the first time(!) and investigate store options around my eventual retirement locale - I'm ready to gear up for what promises to be an interesting April.  Taking care of my wife after next week's back surgery will be a full-time job for a bit, but should also allow for some Creative creative time - looking forward to both opportunities! Large Origami Quilt


Here is my latest quilt with the smallest modules I've attempted so far - 1" patches made from four 2" square sheets made into 4 interlocking modules. Each colored "Super Patch" is made from nine 1" patches using 3 different designs for assembly. Then the 18 Super Patches were assembled and mounted in a 9" x 20" shadowbox with museum-quality UV-resistant plexiglass so the quilt will never fade.  More details here  Large Origami Quilt [...]
